Tier II Reports are Due No Later Than March 1, 2005 (for reporting year 2004)

Georgia will continue to use US EPA’s Tier2 Submit software program for SARA Title III reporting.

Facilities MUST download the new 2004 version of Tier2 Submit. Visit the 312 Reporting Requirements website at www.dnr.state.ga.us/environ/tier2 for links to download the new software and the new user’s guide (Facility Submission Guide)

READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS to complete your report and file according to reporting requirements – to the State Emergency Response Commission (SERC), Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC – if applicable), and your local Fire Departments.

Again, facilities MUST use the new Tier2 Submit 2004 Software program.

If you do not have access to a computer, OR if you do not have internet access, call (404) 656-6905 for reporting instructions.

If you encounter problems with the reporting system, or if you have general questions about EPCRA reporting, call the telephone number listed above , OR you may call any of the GTRI offices listed below for individual technical assistance.

COYNE TO CONDUCT ROUND OF TOWN HALL MEETINGS
During the first week of March, NATA president James K. Coyne will be visiting DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta, GA, and Opa Locka Airport in Miami, FL, where he will be conducting Town Hall meetings. During these special forums, Coyne and area leaders will discuss aviation issues and opportunities that face both the Atlanta- and Miami-area communities. The meetings will last approximately one hour and will be a town-hall-style meeting with an opportunity to ask questions. Community leaders and others will be invited to join the meetings. JOB POSTING - Airport Manager
Title: Airport Manager
City: Peachtree City/Falcon Field (KFFC)
Type:Fulltime-experienced
Salary Range: $45,000 to $75,000 (dependent on qualifications)

Description:
: Position is responsible for five primary functional areas: airport operations, development and maintenance; airport budgets, programs and finances; community outreach; airport marketing and business development; and, management of the FBO operation.

The position reports to a five member Airport Authority established by State charter, and appointed by the City Council.

Desired qualifications include: Accredited college education in business, aviation, engineering and/or public administration.

Experience in airport management: airport and flight operations; grant applications/execution, compliance and administration; contract negotiations and administration; airport maintenance and repair; airport development; airport management associations.

Accredited or certified through the American Association of Airport Executives as either a Certified Member or an Accredited Airport Executive.

Experience in aviation: knowledge of aircraft types and requirements, flight operations, aircraft maintenance, insurance, pilot proficiency.

Experience in public administration: knowledge of local, state and federal agencies/functions/relationships; ability to prepare and make oral and written presentations in a public forum.

Experience in management that should include the ability to plan, direct and supervise employees. Additionally this should also include knowledge of motivation/supervisory/delegation techniques and experience in the development of budgets (capital and operating) as well as experience in negotiations.

Experience in public speaking and team building

FBO Leases
Interesting that I am the first looking for help! Need some advice on FBO leases. Legal Eagles here feel I need a Lease Agreement and separate Service Agreement with all the associated legalese. Anyone else have a deal like that, if so, does it work? Thanks.
